Author: Dresses, dresses, dresses… We look great, we feel great, we feel worth a million bucks, because femininity is priceless, and nothing says feminine like dresses. We wear dresses long for formal occasions and when we’re feeling casual in a comfortable sort of way. We wear them (generally) mid-length for the work world, and we wear them shorter for a variety of reasons from keeping cool to a showing of legs. It is not surprising that the most common print for dresses is floral, nor is it surprising that we then feel the urge to apply a dab of perfume to “finish” us for a day of activities.
Dresses flow like rivers, like long hair, like a wave of lavender spikes covering a meadow on a windy day. They are like flowers. They make us feel feminine, they make us feel pretty. Do we wear dresses for men, or for ourselves?
